Salary: R361 659 per annum (Ref. ITAC 10/20)
Requirements: A relevant degree in Economics, Business Economics or Accounting. At least one year experience as an Investigator, economic/financial analyst or auditor. An understanding of Trade Remedies and their role in economic development. Understanding of the functioning of multilateral trading systems. Ability to work independently, in a team and under pressure. Ability to communicate effectively, conduct him/herself professionally and to deal with people from diverse backgrounds. Analytical, research, problem solving and presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Senior Manager Trade Remedies, the successful candidate will be required to conduct trade remedies investigations. Assist the Commission in its considerations and decision making regarding the investigations conducted through written submissions. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies. Provide inputs in preparation of position papers on topics emanating from trade remedies investigations.
