Salary: R389 145 per annum
Requirements: A degree or equivalent qualification in Economics/ Business Economics/ Accounting/ Auditing (a postgraduate degree will be an added advantage). Experience in economic analysis/ financial analysis or auditing. Exposure to compliance/ enforcement environment. A solid understanding of the role of ITAC. Good understanding of the Industrial Policy Action Plan (IPAP) with regards to the motor industry. Solid understanding of the Automotive Production and Development Programme (APDP). Proven financial analysis, audit experience, policy analysis, project management, research, problem-solving, report writing and presentation skills.
Key responsibilities: Process applications for Production Rebate Credit Certificates (PRCCs) to the qualifying final manufacturers of specified motor vehicles, automotive components and tooling. Assist the Commission in its considerations and decision-making regarding the investigations through written submissions and presentations. Interpret policy and Commission?s decisions to the stakeholders for effective communication. Represent ITAC at various forums and interact with relevant stakeholders. Ensure compliance with the World Trade Organization (WTO) framework and relevant ITAC policies and procedures.
